Today in Primary we were having a sharing time regarding some of the 10 commandments. Bec (my counsellor) had one of the commandments printed out with every word on a different strip of paper. She then had the younger children (sunbeams, CTR 4 and 5) come up the front to hold the papers up, and one of the older children to read out the jumbled sentence. When it was clear that it wasn't the right order she asked the children to sing a song and while singing the younger children were to shuffle around into a different order to see if we could get the sentence in the right order. The funniest thing though was that when she asked then to shuffle one of the sunbeams then called out "Every day I'm shufflin'" (think Party Rock Anthem). It was hilarious!Wednesday, 29th August 2012
Today I went visiting teaching with my mum. I love being companions with my mum as it means we get to spend some time together plus visit some lovely ladies from our ward. Anyway, afterwards we went home to her place and had lunch with Dad. We ate some delicious soup and then mum went to her cupboard and got out her treats container. There were some licorice allsorts and one single Lindt ball. Dad snapped it up straight away and made some comment about mum not eating it because it was white. I turned to mum and asked her if she didn't like white chocolate. Her response - I don't like it because it's not chocolate, it's just white fat. I only like chocolate fat. Hahahahahahahaha!
